Shop with a Cop

SHOP WITH A COP is a national program pairing police officers with children to afford them a better Christmas. The program allows children to view police officers in a different atmosphere to promote positive relationships. This program is organized by East Berks Regional Police and focused on Boyertown Area School District children at the elementary levels who are faced with life challenges such as a parent losing a job, homelessness, military deployment, economic shortcomings, and other hardships.
Children are invited to St. John’s after shopping, where volunteers assist with gift wrapping and provide a meal for the children and their families.
