St. John’s is actively involved with Operation 143, a local organization that serves schools in various districts in our area with backpacks of food to sustain children over the weekend. Volunteers pack food into backpacks every Wednesday evening, which are sent out to qualifying students who discretely pick up the backpacks each Friday and return them on Monday. The process begins again for the next weekend.
